Summary
880-06, This is a diary about Japanese invaders' atrocities during te Nanking Massacre, recorded by a Chinese citizen who had personally endured, witnessed, and learned about the catastrophe. Ms. Tsen Shui-fang (1875-1969), the author of the diary, was then the housemaster of Ginling College and the head of the Health Unit of the Fourth District (Ginling College Refugees Shelter) of the Nanking International Safety Zone. Dated from December 8, 1937 to March 1, 1938, the diary recorded day by day the brutalities of burning, killing, looting, and raping committed by the Japanese army at the campus of Ginling College. Confirmed each other with the well-known Diary of John Rabe, Diary of Minnie Vantrin, and Diary of Azuma Shiro, Tsen's diary provided another powerful evidence to expose the war crimes of the Japanese army during the Nanking Massacre
