Summary
This project was begun in July 2006, when Pat Becker, of the Andover Senior Center, and Deborah Venuti, of Dragonfly: Art With Wings art studio, sat down to brainstorm. We had the idea of doing photographic portraits and oral histories of women over sixty from the Merrimack Valley region, and somehow linking to Andover High School girls. When Pat spoke to Mary Robb, social studies teacher at Andover High and adviser for the group "GLAM" (Girls' Leadership Action Motivators), the project took more shape. When the interviews ended we had interviewed fourteen amazing women
