Summary
The Russian physicist Mikhail Filippov discovers at the beginning of the 20th century how to manipulate electromagnetic waves of explosions to a great distance. This phenomenon is called the "hypothetical ray Filippov." The series shows what could have happened to humanity if Filippov's developments had not been destroyed. Scouts from Germany, the USSR, Japan and Great Britain hunt for this secret weapon. Max Livius, a former Russian officer, opposes them. He is assisted by an agent of the NKVD and part-time favorite girlfriend Anya, as well as the British intelligence officer and loyal friend Phil Kilby
